Resilience is an inner strength we build that prepares us to handle adversity and bounce back faster. And there’s a positive link between this trait and business performance. In fact, resilient employees are almost twice as likely to be motivated and productive than non-resilient peers*.
In today’s ‘when not if’ cyberattack reality, personal resilience is a non-negotiable for employees at the frontline of digital defense. But do enterprises recognize this critical business need, and do they know how to foster it within their teams? These are the questions we sought to answer in our recent survey of 200+ IT and security professionals across EMEA.
Our findings show how personal resilience in the workplace is deprioritized, which could have significant consequences for your business continuity:
- 47% of respondents say they’re only ‘somewhat’ resilient — or worse
- 50% say their organization isn’t aware of the day-to-day stressors in their lives
- 43% don’t believe that their organization recognizes the link between personal resilience and overall business resilience
Does this sound familiar?
If it does, you can turn things around — with a little guidance.
