A multitude of point-specific solutions has complicated cloud security operations, increased friction, and impaired achievement of objectives. A cloud-native application protection platform (CNAPP) addresses many of these concerns by consolidating functional capabilities and leveraging a single security data lake. This document is intended to raise awareness of how a CNAPP helps, as well as what characteristics to look for as organizations seek to transition to a comprehensive CNAPP.
